A common nighttime beauty ritual is finding time to unwind, relax, and let the problems of the day melt away. As a busy wife, mother, and woman, I greatly enjoy taking what little time I have and find ways to pamper my tired skin so I can feel like I haven’t completely let myself go. One product that I have greatly enjoyed using with my nightly ritual lately is the Younique Moodstruck Esteem Lash Serum, which is helping me rebuild and condition my eyelashes, and has helped improve volume and thickness in my lashes.
What I love about this product is its versatility. I like adding the Moodstruck Esteem Lash Serum to my upper lashes, bottom lashes, and I can even add it to my brows, which have suffered through many years of over plucking from fashion trends that have come and gone. Now that natural brows are back in style, I am ready to grow them back out and be more kind to them.
At night once I’ve washed my face and added my moisturizer, I add the Younqiue lash serum. Speaking of moisturizers Younique also has a daytime and nighttime skin cream, but I haven’t tried those yet. The tube for their Moodstruck Esteem Lash Serum looks like a traditional tube of mascara, with a wand to apply the product with. The product is a clear substance without any smell. When I apply the product, I place it on the opposite side of where I normally place mascara, on the underside of my lashes, closer to the top near my lid, but not at the roots. I begin with the wand at the midway point of my lashes, working my way up to the tips, making sure to get what I call “the straggler lashes” on the ends so that everything gets nice and coated with product. I also make sure to coat my bottom lashes with product, as I would love to grow those lashes, too. So far I like that it’s making my natural lashes on top appear thicker and longer, so hoping the same happens with the bottom.
The key to boosting my lashes with Younique lash serum is consistency. I make sure to use the product in the morning before my makeup and before bed. Younique has done clinical testing that showed with regular use, those who tested the product were able to grow thickness in their lashes by as much as 39%, and length by as much as 29%. What has been really wonderful for me is the growth in my middle lashes, an area that had gotten brittle with age and through the use of force and harmful chemicals from other eye makeup products.
As someone who enjoys a natural look to my beauty routine, I like that there are now days that I can go without mascara, and still enjoy fullness and volume to my lashes. As much as I enjoy wearing makeup some days to create a full-face look to put my best face forward, there are days when I am busy and simply do not have enough time to commit to much more than a drop of concealer and some lip balm. It is wonderful to know on those days that my natural lashes have grown enough with Younique’s lash serum to shine naturally on their own without any extra product. I’m very impressed with the boost to my lashes, and even my eyebrows, from using the Younique lash serum. This product has helped me feel younger by restoring vitality in hair growth. I seriously did not think possible in a product of such a reasonable price point, and I am so happy with the results.
