They’ve broken various stereotypes of a woman and exceeded the limitations set by the patriarchal society. From simply being a replacement to free up men for combat in World War II, women of today have come so far.

The millennials are set to outnumber their predecessor generation and is expected to hold 75% of the workforce by 2025 with 68% of that being women. Millennials are known to be significantly different from other generations. They are seen as game changers and often set new trends in many, if not all, sectors of the society. Women of this generation have different kind of thinking as well as way of living.

Business-Minded

Millennial women are poised to be trailblazers. In fact, 83% of them voiced that they want to start their own business. More businesses have opened up since the millennial generation have become adults. It was noted that new businesses have been established two times more frequent than the previous generation.

Flexible Workforce                        

Millennials have just to the age to fill in managerial and senior-level positions on the corporate ladder. In addition, millennial women have opened up themselves to male-dominated industry and some excel like

According to statistics, women of today are four times more likely to receive a bachelor’s degree. And it is worth to note that women of today are 7% more likely to attain higher education than men, compare to previous generations where men have the upper hand.

Career-Oriented

Millennial women believe in themselves and are highly independent. This characteristic is the result of being career-oriented. Millennial women are the most financially successful generation of all. Around 71% of Millennial women are in the workplace and are choosing to focus on their profession rather than settling down early on. They are wide awake of the repercussions of bad life decisions and are careful about their personal life in all aspect including career growth.

Different View On Motherhood

According to a study conducted by Pew Research Center, millennial woman are taking their career first rather than becoming a mother. Women are getting married later than ever with the age of 27 being the average, compare to 20 years old for other generations. In fact, more and more are freezing their eggs and choosing to have IVF or in vitro fertilization.

They see motherhood, not as a way to settle down or fulfill the structure of a women’s life, rather they see it as an opportunity to take care of another human being while able to give unlimited unconditional love.

Loyal

Millennials women are loyal, well at least to the products and services they use. While many companies consider millennials as fickle-minded and all about the experience. It is apparent that they are looking at the older model of businesses and marketing.

In order to get millennial loyalty, you need some sort of incentive. Millennial women can be hugely loyal to a brand that encompasses their belief. A majority of which believes in ethical business, environment-friendly companies, and inclusive brands.

They also believe in loyalty programs, with 86% of them willing to join and support a business that provides rewards to frequent patrons.
